About Sundancer Electric Inc.

Who We Are

Experience

Founded in 2012, Sundancer Electric has grown from a small startup to a company that has been part of many high-profile projects. We specialize in commercial, industrial and heavy industrial environments, and have built a reputation for providing flexible solutions that require a high level of knowledge, skill, professionalism and sophistication.

Owner Buzz Desjarlais, a U.S. Army veteran, has grown the company from humble roots — where he had to use his own assets as collateral — to a successful electrical and general contractor with a team of highly experienced field employees and managers. Our top managers and estimators individually have over 20 years of experience, while our entire team brings more than a hundred years of combined field and industry management experience.

Company

Safety is a key focus of our company culture, and we take this responsibility very seriously. We have an excellent safety record.

Licensed in Washington, Alaska, Montana and Oregon, Sundancer Electric has been growing to accommodate large public and private works projects. We have moved to a larger facility in 2015 to accommodate our growth in operations and expand the space we need for the tools, vehicles and special equipment we provide for our projects.

Processes

Sundancer Electric is consistently searching for new ways to bring effective technology in our everyday workplace, both in the office and particularly in the field. Our field personnel coordinate with our managers, prime contractors and owners using Procore as our primary project management software. We use McCormick Systems for our project estimating software as we consistently strive for accuracy in all our pricing. We have CADD and BIM abilities based upon specific requests. We utilize Dexter + Chaney as our accounting program to consistently produce accurate and timely outcomes. These technologies represent a large investment for our company, but we feel it helps us provide superior service to our customers.
